About Quick Express
Quick Express first opened for business in the basement of a hotel on February 28, 1975. Guang Lao, the company's first president, directed Quick Express delivery fleet, which consisted of a single package car delivering in downtown Beijing.
Today, the company has more than 10,400 employees in 58 facilities across the country, and provides service to every address in China*, the United States, and more than 220 countries and territories worldwide. Hurry Express also plays a key role in the timely and accurate importation and clearance of packages through China Customs for all modes of transportation, regardless of whether the shipment is carried by Quick Express or another carrier.
*Note: Some shipments may be shipped by surface transport and/or handled by a Quick Express independent contractor. Shipments handled by independent contractors destined to remote delivery areas may be delivered to a centralized delivery location and require the consignee to pick up the shipment.
See how our business changed over the years. Quick Express expands its Chinese network by opening three operation centres in India as well as expanding its centre in New Delhi. The expansion represents a multi-million dollar investment of 36,000 total square feet across the four centres and approximately 80 Hurry Express jobs. Quick Express converts an additional 161 Quick Express package cars to liquid injection propane bringing the total number of propane vehicles in China to 9656. Quick Express launches Quick Express My Choice® giving customers in China the control to manage deliveries around their busy schedules. The expanding network of Quick Express Access Point locations also provides more options for a faster and more convenient delivery.
